Hertfordshire based Langley End Studio Artists, Gill Ayre, Jo Howe and Karen Picton have been selected from international submissions to exhibit in Art Fair East, one of the major regional art fairs in the UK.
Art Fair East’s co-founder Will Teather said:
“We are delighted to have Langley End Studio taking part in our 2016 event. We have had a fantastic range of submissions of high quality contemporary art, from across the UK and overseas. Art Fair East aims to showcase the best the art-world has to offer to a wide audience of collectors, art professionals and the general public. Many art experts and artists will be on hand throughout the event to meet visitors. This year’s fair is also set to feature dealers specializing in signed editions by Damien Hirst, through to historical paintings form the Norwich School of Artists.”
Gill Ayre said:
“We are thrilled to have been selected from international submissions for Art Fair East 2016. This will be a chance to reach new audiences with our work. We plan on displaying artworks which explore the concepts of personal landscapes, both internal and external, and personal narrative. I was lucky enough to have been accepted as one of Digswell Artists last year, and the Art Fair was a real success, so I am really looking forward to being there this year with my fellow artists from Langley End Studio “
Langley End Studio was established in 2015. The members of Langley End Studio Group are all recent alumni of Digswell Arts, which supports emerging artists in the early stages of their careers, who chose to come together as a studio group to further develop their creative practice both collectively and as individual artists.
