Solo Exhibition at Art Van Go, Knebworth, November 2017

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of putting up a solo show of my work from the last couple of years. The exhibition will be on throughout November, until 2nd December.

The work on exhibition represents 2 main bodies of work:

Herts Woods – was inspired by the abundance of local woodlands in Hertfordshire, and the development of the largest newly planted area of woodland in the UK, Heart Wood.

Coastal Marshlands – was inspired by frequent trips to the East Anglian coast, with its distinctive salt marshes.

Other work on show in this exhibition does not fit into any particular category but represents more recent work exploring my constant fascination with the natural world, through different mediums. Having worked in oils for many years I am currently exploring working with different acrylic paints and inks, to enable me to work quicker and more expressively.
